About La Galerie Studio

La Galerie Studio is a Brussels-based interior design and art direction practice founded in 2000 by Christian Espagne. Originally established in Barcelona with a showroom on Calle Rossellón — representing Liaigre, Promemoria, India Mahdavi, Hervé van der Straeten, and curated art pieces — the studio has evolved into an international practice creating bespoke interiors and curated spaces across Belgium and Europe.

From it’s earliest years, La Galerie Studio has been guided by a commitment to craftsmanship, noble materials, and the dialogue between context, culture, and contemporary living. These foundations, strengthened by long-standing collaborations with master artisans and specialised ateliers, continue to shape every project.

The studio designs personalised interiors with a sensorial approach to light, materiality, and proportion. Each space balances refinement and comfort, resulting in warm, singular, and enduring environments.

La Galerie Studio specialises in private residential projects and heritage properties, complemented by art direction for boutique hospitality, commercial interiors, and visual identity including photography and curated imagery for brands and private clients.

Projects have been realised in Belgium, Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Costa Brava, Marbella), the Balearic Islands, Italy (Tuscany, Capri), France (Paris, French Riviera), and Greece.
